What is BPA?
Business Professionals of America is a career technical student organization that is made up of 51,000 members, across 25 states. Business Professionals of America, or more commonly known as BPA, is an organization that gives students opportunities to participate in competitive business events.
There are four categories of events, and in these four categories there are a total of 56 competitions. Descriptions of these events can be found in the Workplace Skills Assessment Program. The categories include financial services, administrative support, information technology, and management/marketing/human resources. Students are able to compete at the regional, state, and national level at these three leadership conferences.
BPA is a co-curricular organization, supporting not only business but also information technology educators by offering co-curricular exercises based on national standards.
Students in this club will compete in two events where they can excel and prosper in public speaking, design, problem solving, and more. does an extraordinary job at getting out students to excel in the program and travel to places where they are able to create friendships, learn, and become business professionals!
